Notice the screenshot up there? Well it’s from a lady I have obviously never met😂. Strange right? To understand this I have to take you back to October last year🕰, during trimester A. But first, more great news. THE PDP SESSION IS BACK PEOPLE!!!! and scheduled for ….drum roll… tomorrow!!!.Frances never disappoints🤣 so save me a cup of your stuck up coffee for our ‘’quarantine and chill’’ haha. A quick flash back last year, I met an old lady who stays 2 blocks from my accommodation. She was struggling to get her garbage bin out to the front for collection so I gave her a hand. That was our first encounter and how we became more neighborly. Shortly after, on Tuesdays as I left for Uni, I would just pull out the bin for collection and pull it back in should it be out when returning. We hardly met as I left early in the morning and back late in the night so she took my contact and checked up from time to time. Still don’t get the text right….hang in there…..Fast forward to COVID’19 world last Friday, I had just ended my first statistics class online which was surprisingly interesting 😅when I thought of her. I hadn’t heard from her in almost two weeks so I decided to call. We had a lovely chat and she told me she was very healthy and even joked about having nothing to buy in the shops when she went to ASDA. I Offered to get anything from the shop should she need it and drop it at the door so she does not have to go out. This made her so happy and she kept blessing me. To be honest I didn’t think it was a big deal but I felt proud she was happy haha. I woke up the next morning to a missed call and that text from her daughter and I couldn’t be any happier with my self. It feels good to know that someone care in this time of fear. I blogged earlier about how I felt loved by the calls and messages from family and friends and I am happy I had the opportunity to spread the love. The little acts of kindness especially in times like this, even the slightest has the potential to make someone smile…trust me, I just experienced it. #Entrepreneurial mind-set# Common good attribute
