Virtual learning has officially began and as promised, my thoughts on it. I think my uni like every Uni is faced with an almost impossible situation and is doing everything possible to adjust. Currently the virtual learning is short of what I expected. Largely just lecture slides that is available in many different format. The audio format is not the best and makes me sleep haha but hopefully it gets better. I try to make do with the PowerPoint format and though not easy, it’s workable. My thoughts and prayers go out to Croatia, currently struggling with an earthquake and a virus outbreak. Cant stay in or out in a freezing cold temperature, we are indeed in an unprecedented time. We are in a very fast pace world now and what you thought you knew yesterday may not necessarily be valid today. I just got an email suggesting that Glasgow was currently on lock down, raising more concerns among my colleagues and I as well as uncertainties regarding our anticipated PDP session. I just saw on the United Nations website that some civil and international wars were ongoing even till this time. Its heart-breaking the death toll keeps raising from COVID’19 alone across the world but we keeping killing ourselves over POWER and GREED even when the true enemy is right in front of us, picking us off one by one. It is time to hold all arms and UNITE. It is time to SUPPORT and REDIRECT our ENERGY to fighting our common ENEMY, for it is the only way we will get through this in one piece. THERE WILL BE NO POLITICS IF THERE IS NO US!!!
