Hey guys, hope we are all safe and healthy. Just watching the news briefings and decided to check in. Officially a full week in isolation and to be honest, I didn’t think staying home for just a week could be such a torture. I guess maturity is setting in or maybe, waking up every morning to the chaos is not what I envisioned my stay home to be about. I always wake up hoping that this nightmare will end but it seems to get worse by the minute. It is encouraging to see so much solidarity on the internet and people seeing the beauty in each other in times like this. I bet a lot of us had forgotten how it felt like to spend time with family because we were always working or busy with a project. I just wish there was a better way to be forced to see the beauty of living. It is no secret the health workers and other essential personals are doing everything they can to keep us running. TRUE HEROES. The best way to help is to do our part and listen to advice coming from reliable sources. Remember misinformation will kill us faster than any virus can. We have been through a pandemic before and though not this kind, we are stronger and will survive. Uni is official closed and I don’t know what is gonna happen to the next PDP session as promised but will keep you informed. We are moving to a virtual learning system starting tomorrow and I will be back to tell you all about it and my thoughts. Fingers crossed!!!.The entire educational system seems frozen, so many uncertainties and unanswered questions but having family and friends reach out to me has been the best feeling and it just shows their love and support through times like these. I know the news is horrifying and heart breaking but we will get through it. Let’s stay positive and support each other. Remember to spread the love not the virus. THERE IS DEFINITELY LIGHT AT THE END OF THIS TUNNEL.
